Dying Will

A feeling from deep within my being reached out,
Painting it's beauty over my wandering soul.
Giving me the benefit of the nagging doubt,
Somehow leaving, in the night, in the cold.

The feelings loom and curve over my form,
Twisting and curling in the atmosphere.
Like the flames of an eternal raging storm,
The darkness is punctured by shades of lore.

A flicker of hope emerges inside of my heart,
The chains loosen as the darkness fades.
Determination soon follows this spark.
The cold turns to warmth in the sun's rays.

Only one thought has crossed my wondering mind,
At this moment desperation is scratching it's way in.
I seem to know exactly what it is, that I must find,
A dying will if you may, so now the fun can begin.
